role in student’s education
Positive effects of Social Media:
• Social media is attractive. It is a good way
to release pressure from a student’s mind
• It helps students to make connections with
other people, relatives, and friends.
• helps students to stay connected with one another and share opinions and ideas.
• helps in increasing and modifying creativity
in students.
• Through surfing different websites, students can increase their knowledge and awareness.
• It saves time to get knowledge about any topic.
• Through social media, students can do open
communication that helps in the discovery and delivery of new ideas.
• Students can get all information about healthcare
• students can ask questions, post news and share links of any information.
Negative effects of Social Media:
• students are getting an addiction to social
media.
• They are spending a lot of time in those social networking sites like
Facebook, Instagram etc which are seriously degrading the student’s performance
in their studies.
• Mostly students may addict to use these social
networking sites whole day to mid night, which is causing many dangerous
effects on their health for example weakening of eye sight
• Social media definitely effecting students’
efficiencies as well as their grades.
Conclusion:
There are both negative and positive pressures
of social media on student’s life. But we have to use these social networking
sites carefully by keeping in view towards our academics. There is need to
better balance the relationship between social media and academics.
